This brass thread adaptor connects modern 3/4 inch BSP (Hozelock / Gardena type) garden hose pipe quick connect fittings to the outlet of your older outside tap.

Both ends of the connector have a male 3/4 inch BSP outer thread. One end has a 5/8 inch BSP female inner thread (rare size), the other a 1/2 inch BSP female inner thread.

Great for old hose union bib taps with the less common 1/2 or 5/8 inch BSP size outlet threads.

I wish I knew about these before. Have looked in various garden centres etc. only to be told they don't make these anymore. Well they do and they work perfectly, so no more waiting in anticipation of my aged plastic one to break, happy days.
