3/4" Imperial Copper Compression Olive

Compression olive to suit old 3/4 inch imperial copper pipe (popular in the UK before 1972).

Can be used as a conversion olive inside a metric 22mm compression plumbing fitting to reduce it to accept the slightly smaller 3/4 inch sized imperial pipe.

The old British imperial 3/4 inch copper pipe measured approx 0.846 inch / 21.49 mm outside diameter (3/4 inch referred to its nominal inside diameter / bore). The inside diameter of the olive is obviously a tiny bit bigger than this, as it has to go over the pipe.

This olive only suits old British imperial pipe (other countries, like the Republic of Ireland and America have a different size).
