PTFE Paste (Tube) Plumbing Thread Sealing Compound

Jomar White Stuff is a slow drying, soft setting, non hardening PTFE pipe thread seal compound. It will not transfer taste or odour to the system being sealed. Excellent for food and water systems. It is lead free, anti-galling, non corrosive, non toxic, and will not harden in tube.

We have found that to make an excellent joint, if you use the PTFE paste from the tube on the male threads of the fitting and then apply some PTFE tape on top of that, it makes a great job. It avoids the common problems with using PTFE tape on its own, where sometimes you do not get a watertight joint (usually this is somewhere really awkward to repair).

Lubricates and protects all threads. May be used on steel, copper, brass, aluminium, ABS, PVC and fibreglass piping. Non-toxic. Contains no lead. NOT FOR USE ON OXYGEN.

Directions : Knead tube before use. Clean threads of dirt and grease. Apply only to male threads. Joint may be made up immediately or within four hours as desired.

Brushable from -50 to +400 Fahrenheit.
